Overview

Spitz is a love story between Bryce Rademan and Mediterranean street food. This restaurant brings the delicious street food from the Mediterranean to the US adding plenty of veggies and delicious ingredients to ensure you’re hooked.

Value

So good! Each dish is around $10 but can definitely be split between my husband and me.

3 most popular dishes

They conveniently point out the most popular dishes on their menu: street cart döner street cart fries, and Berliner fries.

What I ordered

Street cart döner, street cart fries, and the döner salad.

Food quality

Every ingredient tasted great on its own but combined, the dishes sang! Spitz cooks its meats using a traditional Turkish döner kebap method, made of meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie. They shave off the meat slice by slice after the juices drip down and caramelize. The attention to detail for a casual restaurant was impressive: they sprinkled herbs on the end of the street cart döner and pair it with fresh veggies. Everything we tried was outstanding!

Ambiance

Loud but energetic. Their decor is hypnotizing and fun and the music selection was eclectic and upbeat. Most of their staff look a little rough around the edges but were very friendly. They provide napkins and utensils at every table and a cart nearby with extra plates, to-go boxes, toothpicks, and board games. It’s definitely a place everyone can feel comfortable. Great for families too. They had lots of highchairs available and kids running around.

What I liked most

The attention to details, the value, and the delicious meats. I would categorize this as a go-to fast casual restaurant and I’m sure we will keep going.

What I disliked most

The wait was a bit long but given the other factors, it didn’t matter.
